Piggy Bank Club
Kids learn how to count nickels, dimes, and quarters in kindergarten. However, they gain their real financial wisdom on money matters from their parents. To help parents teach their kids about financial matters the Panduit Employees Credit Union offers the PECU Piggy Bank Club for new and existing members ages 12 and younger.
All children who have existing accounts, and those who open a new Piggy Bank Club Account will receive a PECU Piggy Bank where they can put money they receive through allowances, birthdays, and other special occasions. When the Piggy Bank is full, bring it into the credit union to deposit into the child's account.
Existing PECU members:
If you already have a PECU account, you can help start your child’s financial future by opening a Piggy Bank Club Account for them. All you need is a minimum of $25 to start their account, their social security number, and a copy of their birth certificate. If your child already has an existing account, stop by to pick up their very own Piggy Bank.
Prospective PECU members:
Don’t have an account? Come in today and start an account of your own. You only need $25 to start your own account. Once your account is opened, you can open a Piggy Bank Account for your children, grandchildren, neices, or nephews, with a minimum deposit of $25 for their account.
